That holds your sitter’s calendar and sets up a free meet & greet so your cat can weigh in. Once your sitter confirms, you’re set, and you’ll get an update after every visit. If it’s not a match, your sitter declines and you’re refunded in full.

Most cats do great with one or two 20-minute drop-ins a day: feeding, fresh water, litter, and some company. Book 45-minute visits when your cat needs more, think playful kittens, shy cats who take a while to come out, or longer routines. Overnights are for cats who really shouldn’t be alone, your sitter stays the night.

A free intro right after you send the booking request, before your sitter confirms. Your sitter meets your cat on your cat’s terms and you walk through the routine together, in person or over video depending on what they offer (you’ll see it on their profile). If it’s not a match, your sitter declines and you’re refunded in full, no hard feelings (the cat decides).

Many sitters are comfortable with medication, and it’s listed on their profile. Add the details to your cat’s profile when you book, and walk through it together at the meet & greet so nothing is new on day one.

Each sitter sets their own prices for drop-in visits and overnights. You’ll see the exact rates on the sitter’s profile, and the total at checkout is the full price, no surprise fees.

Yes. New to mraav? Your first booking is 20% off when you sign up. mraav covers the discount, so your sitter still receives their full rate, and it comes off your total at checkout.

Your card is charged securely through Stripe when you send the booking request, that’s what locks in your sitter’s calendar. If your sitter declines, you’re refunded automatically and in full. No cash, nothing to handle in person.

Tips are always optional. After your reservation ends, you’ll get a chance to tip your sitter from My bookings. They receive 100% of it.

Yes. Every sitter on mraav goes through an identity and background check before their profile goes live. We also read their references and review their answers to our cat-specific screening questions.

Our promise on every booking: vetted sitters, real visit updates, a human who answers, and a guarantee that helps cover eligible vet care or accidental home damage if a sit goes wrong because of a sitter’s verified negligence. It’s a goodwill program mraav funds itself (not insurance) that steps in after any other coverage, and sitters are independent and carry their own insurance. Each sitter sets their own cancellation policy (from ultra-flexible to strict) and it’s shown on their profile before you book. If you cancel within that policy’s refund window, mraav refunds you through Stripe, no back-and-forth with your sitter.
