Leaving your cat with someone new is a leap. Here’s what we promise on every booking, in plain language: vetted sitters, real updates, a human who answers, and a guarantee that has your back if a sit ever goes wrong.
Before a profile goes live, every sitter clears a government-ID check and a third-party background check, we read their references, and we review their answers to cat-specific screening questions. If something feels off, we don’t list them.
After every visit your sitter sends a real update on how your cat is doing, eating, energy, anything unusual, in their own words. No vague “all good!” texts.
Email hello@mraav.com and you’ll hear back from a human in the San Francisco Bay Area within one business day. For anything urgent involving your cat’s safety, reach your sitter directly first, then loop us in.
If a sit goes wrong, the Mraav Pledge helps cover eligible vet care or accidental home damage caused by a sitter’s verified negligence. It’s our promise that you’re not on your own if the worst happens.
The Mraav Pledge guarantee
Every booking made and paid through mraav comes with the Mraav Pledge. If your cat is hurt or your home is damaged because of a sitter’s verified negligence, we’ll help cover eligible costs so you’re not left to handle it alone.
